Emory Solutions: A Year in Review

2023 has been a year of incredible growth and achievement for Emory Solutions. As we look back on the past 12 months, we are filled with pride in the work we’ve accomplished alongside our clients.

Technology Solutions Delivering Impact:

  • Software Development

Our software engineering team designed, developed, and successfully implemented numerous custom software solutions that transformed businesses across multiple industries.  One recurring theme we saw in 2023 was our Client’s focus on automation.  

We automated manual processes to improve operational efficiencies that saved countless labor hours by eliminating error prone, mind-numbing data entry tasks throughout the business. We created user-friendly interfaces that put the user first, making adoption easy and integration seamless.  These efforts had an immediate impact on our clients’ bottom line.

  • Data Analytics & Insights

Every company has it, but our Data Insights Team is an empowerment engine! Our clients are gaining valuable insights from their data through our data analytics and reporting services. By uncovering hidden trends and patterns, our clients have been able to make data-driven decisions that drive growth and success. Giving decision makers easy to consume and digestible data has a multiplier effect on the business – improved operational and strategic decision making impacts every facet of the business!

  • eCommerce

We’ve helped our clients build and launch successful online stores, leveraging our expertise in eCommerce software development. From platform selection to store customization, we’ve provided the tools and guidance needed to thrive in the competitive online marketplace.

  • Technology Consulting

All our clients all use technology in one way or another, but many are not technology experts themselves.  In 2023, we worked alongside multiple clients who were not making the most of the ERP, often leaving team members frustrated and using “workarounds” to get the job done. 

In order to ensure that our Clients maximize the ROI on their ERP investment and reduce “friction” within the organization, we jumped in!  First, we listened and then reviewed all their vendors, processes, and reporting efforts.  Next, we built a “Technology Roadmap” that fully leverages their existing tools and eliminates any duplicative efforts.  Lastly, we organized training when needed and coached leadership through ongoing optimization efforts. These projects saved employees dozens of hours a week, eliminated manual data entry & process re-work, and provided reliable reporting for leadership. Whether it’s as a fractional C-suite, advisory board, or just a discovery partner, our team of subject matter experts assist when, and where, needed.

Client Success Stories:

This year, we’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing clients, helping them achieve their goals and reach new heights. Here are just a few examples:

  • We helped a leading internet service provider create an app that lets their customers manage their “digital house” – controlling Wifi networks for people/rooms/devices, managing advanced features on their phone service, and self-service troubleshooting saving time for customers and to get help quicker. 

  • We’ve supported multiple clients through an ERP implementation (Acumatica Dynamics 365, Netsuite) so that they could meet their future growth goals.

    • In the retail supply chain space, we helped a client automate their Invoice process with Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC.  Additionally we set up UOM conversions and updated all systems to use UOM to drive process & conversions.  In 2024, we’ll complete SO/PO/PO Receipt and Inventory configuration and automation.

    • In the industrial services space, we helped a client integrate customer data from Great Plains into a new custom CRM workflow for their Sales team to manage disparate quoting processes in a single dashboard and workflow.  Next year, we’ll begin supporting their migration from Great Plains to Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC.

    • In the retail space, we launched a client on Acumatica.  They have complex sales, procurement, and inventory scenarios that had to be carefully designed to ensure minimal disruption to current processes.  The solution has full eCommerce functionality, Mobile Warehousing via Zebra handhelds, and a capacity planning feature to manage sales, quoting capacity, and turn-around time.

    • In the manufacturing space, we helped a client plan the launch of a new plant in Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC, tying into existing automations to create PO receipts from the scale house, send weekly vendor statements, view real-time inventory dashboards, and automate sending client Invoice packets.

    • In the professional services space, we helped a client assess performance and upgrade / replacement paths for a 20+ year old legacy business system.  We provided triage solutions for performance & maintenance, new reporting strategy, and complete cloud migration.  

  • We partnered with multiple industry leading companies on system integration projects so that they could build a best in breed technology environment and fully leverage third party softwares.

  • We even designed innovative products from the ground up, driving digital transformation in “traditional”, often overlooked sectors. 

Process Improvements:

In 2023, we’ve also made significant strides in expanding our internal efficiency and driving more effective outcomes, forging new partnerships with industry leaders. These efforts have allowed us to help more businesses than ever before and make a positive impact on the communities we serve.
